The Groovefest American Music Festival is a five day festival that is dedicated to American music, whether it is Blues & Folk, Bluegrass & Country Western, Americana, Jazz,  Jam… well, the list goes on.

American music can be defined in many ways; too many to talk about in this space, but if it could be pinned down to one word, that word would be “real.” For that is truly the definition of music that is felt from the heart and makes the players as well as the listeners feel good; music that comes deep from the soul; music that does not try to impress.

Real music. It is a feeling as well as a sound. And those many sounds and feelings that have truly originated from a unique American spirit is what Groovefest is.

The musicians that perform here are only half of what make Groovefest what it is. Groovefest is also a community of like-minded people that love music and only want other people to enjoy it with them. Groovefest is about art and the sharing of art.

So, please, take a look at all that this nine-year-old music festival has to offer; a festival that blossomed from a small one day, few hour event in an unlikely town on the foothills of the red mountains at the bottom end of the Great Basin in southern Utah.
